Our packaging adds weight.  The shipping boxes are good quality boxes.  Most items are shipped in a shipping box.  The stands and some helmets are packaged so well from CAS Hanwei that they do not need the extra box.  Our shipping cost does reflect this by the weight for shipping.  We would rather ship it right so you don't receive a damaged product.  

Shipping Procedures: 

UPS Ground is calculated by realtime UPS shipping calculations, based on weight of items and the zip code for shipping locations.  Weight of each item has been estimated for the total weight of shipping packaging. Some items are oversized and the weight is calculated higher for this reason.  No other charges are added in.  Free Shipping within the contiguous United States only for orders in the amount of  $250.00 or more shipped by UPS ground only.  Declared value insurance is included the price of orders over $250.00

  Each order will ship within one to three business days after payment completion.  We take care to ensure quality packaging and expedition of our orders.  Our first priority is customer care and satisfaction.  The UPS tracking# and scheduled delivery date will be emailed to you the day your package ships.    Please feel free to contact us atsupport@hanweikatanaswords.com with any questions regarding order shipment status. We will not leave you wondering about the status of your order.  If you place your order at night, besides an automatic receipt, you will be notified the next day that your order is in progress for shipping.

We will ship by USPS.  Please contact us by email or phone for shipping rate prior to placing your order.  Packages will be insured and signature proof of delivery is required on most orders.  On small orders as in letter openers, contact us and we will be happy to send by Priority Mail to save shipping cost.

We are accepting orders from New Zealand.  Ships by United States Post Office.  Please email for shipping cost before ordering.  It is also your responsibility to know what items will be accepted by customs.  We do not pay customs charges.  We cannot refund any shipping if sent back to us by customs or for any reason.   Thank you

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:  FOR USA

We do accept returns for exchange or refund within 30 days of purchase. The merchandise must be in original box with all paperwork.  You will receive a full refund including shipping and handling if by our inspection, the merchandise is defective or the wrong item was shipped. All other reasons will be subject to a 10%  re-stocking fee and shipping is not refunded unless otherwise stated. Notify us prior to shipping to obtain a Return Authorization#  Any damaged returns due to improper use that void the Hanwei warranty will not be refunded.  

Any Hanwei product purchased from hanweikatanaswords.com with proof of purchase has a one year warranty from date of purchase.   As a retail partner dealer, Hanwei Katana Swords will represent and honor CAS Hanwei warranty under the conditions stated in the warranty.

We offer free shipping for $250.00 Minimum orders within the United States only.  UPS ground shipping only.

Our processing is credit card secure.  Pay Pal Pro. has been an excellent processor for our customers.  You do not need an account with Pay Pal Pro this is a secure processor not a checkout payment center. 

 If you have an account with Paypal.com you may purchase through them at checkout.  We still need the Order information for shipping purposes and our order records.  Then you are directed to paypal.com to complete your payment.
